Sheer Am Running Out of Puns

The hull took a trip to the barber today and got a little taken off the top. We dropped measurements down from our cross-sheer frames and laid out the final sheer line. With that now cut we moved onto fitting our sheer clamps that will double the width of the sheer planking where the planking meets the underside of the deck.

We also gained a guest appearance from Michael Allen who joined us to help fit two more chunks in the bow. These matching pieces will be glued to the outside of the bow stem and cap the ends of the sheer planking, tying everything together.

Once we have our sheer clamps in place we will be able to work on fitting our permanent interior frames and constructing the center board box.
