That Glue Kicked Like a Bad Habit

This morning we peeled off the plastic covering the hull and unhooked the ratchet straps that had pulled the logs together. For the first time we got to look at the logs as one cohesive hull. The rest of the day was spent milling lumber from the excess that we had removed from the center log when we first had it on the mill, which feels like a year ago. The pieces that we cut will serve as large dutchmen that will cap the ends of the logs, port and starboard as well as forward and aft, which will help tie the hull together.
