Five Logs One Canoe

This morning we finished leveling our center and two starboard logs. With those three setup and a little log jostling, we got the port side garboard log and frames bolted back to the center log. Once all of the logs were together we set up drop measurements, measuring down from the center line, to check the positioning of the logs at each station.

With the hull where we wanted it to be, we fired up the power planes once again to start shaping the remainder of the center log. The port side is the last part of the log that needs to be faired and with that section rounded over we will complete a final fairing before gluing together next week.
