Do You Like Apples?
WELL HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES?
After some reinforcing this morning, it was all hands on deck. With the port side wing log pulled off of the frames and set outside, we slid the port side garboard log against the wall and then rolled the hull over. With the starboard logs flipped, it only took a few sets of hands to pick up the port side garboard log and place it on the other side of the corn crib. The remainder of the morning was spent stabilizing the logs, then this afternoon we went about the process of setting up the center log in it’s proper orientation. We pulled strings down our center line on the exterior of the hull and down the water line along the side of the center log. With these to reference from, we jacked and blocked our way near level and will get it tuned up perfectly tomorrow morning.
