How Bout Them Wing Logs

Today was all planers planing and chainsaws roaring. The interiors of both garboards are faired and we began milling our wing logs. Since the wings are the excess that we cut from the garboards, it was necessary for us to line up the wings with their respective garboards. After laying out our lines with the mylar to establish our profile view, we cut those lines with the chainsaw and bigfoot bracket. Next we will need to loft out the top view on each wing and after cutting those lines we will be able to shape their interiors and then it is onto piecing together the hull!
