An Adze is an Adze is an Adze

The fellas have two frames to go. Today was another day of careful fitting and we fastened a couple of the frames in the aft end of the canoe. As we complete our frame fitting, we are thinking more about flipping over the hull. There is still a good deal of material to be removed from the underside of the hull and because of the convex shape to the exterior, we cannot plot straight from seam to seam and will be relying on frames to trim the outside shape of the hull as well. Once each log is shaped we will then be preparing for our big glue up, but until then there is still a little more fitting and bracing to do.
