Framers on a Roll
Yesterday afternoon we milled some of our leftover pine scrap to make our interior molds and began to lay out our three stations. Upon completing our line transferring from the mylars this morning, we then made a matching frame for each one we had completed. Then with full frames constructed we took them over to the canoe and began to lay them out.
As we get closer and closer to actually fixing the boat together it is important that we take our time and remain as consistent as possible with the layout of our station lines that we use to draw references from. After a little more log shimmying this afternoon we were happy with our placements and will continue our frame layout tomorrow before further shaping the inside of the hull.
